Five for Friday

It's Friday (holy moley it was a long week) so I am linking up with Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching for her Five for Friday linky party! Here are my five!

#1 My cute boy had a rough week. He's been sick and had a big accident in the house today :( but he's such a good dog he deserves a shout out . Here he is sniffing the super-sweet doorknob hanger (is that what you call them?) that my boyfriend's niece made for me. I love it!

#2 Thank you ! I had a gift card for $50 and got this set of whites for $1 plus shipping. 6 bottles of wine! Of course the Jim Olson one reminds me of the friends episode where Phoebe has a creepy stalker and she asks his name and he says "Jim, Jim Olson". Phoebe says "Hi, Jim, Jim Olson. I'm Phoebe, Phoebe Buffay"!

#3 I found this great Martin Luther King jr. Egg cracking activity at Mrs. Miner's blog  here. You can click on the pin and find out more about it but basically we looked at 2 eggs that were different on the outside (right after discussing MLK's dream), then we looked at the inside and found out that they are the same inside. I did see a pin on Pinterest where kids showed their hand too and I thought it was a cool visual. Thanks to whoever came up with the idea!

#4  I am SUPER excited that through the luck of the draw I got to be the Featured Blogger on Teaching Blog Addict's Freebie Friday today ! Woo! Thanks to Fern Smith for always hosting this wonderful linky! Be sure to go over and see what great freebies you can get!

#5 To celebrate #4 I have a new blog post up with THREE freebies for you! Check it out here or click any of the images below. Enjoy!

I hope you have a restful weekend and hopefully have Monday off!
