8 Great Winter Reads

Happy snow day everyone! We were supposed to go back to school but because of this storm winter vacation has been extended. Yippee?! I miss the kiddos but am really enjoying the time to get other things done. What have I done? I came up with this graphic of 8 great winter reads. I got the idea from my bloggy buddy Andrea at Reading Toward the Stars when she chose her favorite winter read for her recent Book Talk Thursday. Well here are mine, and if you click on the images, you will jump to the page for that book on Amazon. Which of these is your favorite? Is there one that should be on the list that is not?!

  1. I agree!!! I love everyone of those books and where I live we get snow (dusting of it) about every 3-5 years. My kids really do love reading books about snow and snowy days.

  3. My students also enjoy Snow Day! by Lester Laminack, The Biggest, Best Snowman by Margery Cuyler, and Froggie Gets Dressed by Jonathan Londan. I just picked up Ladybug Girl and the Big Snow. I think they are going to love it also.
