5 for Friday Linky Party Time!

I am linking again with Doodle Bugs Teaching for the 5 for Friday!  Look at that adorable graphic for it- just click and see who else linked up!

#1: I am joining many other TPT sellers and having a big back to school sale!  I am giving the biggest discount TPT allows you to , which is 20% off and you can get 28% total if you enter the coupon code BTS13 when you check out! Wow! This is only for Sunday and Monday and then it's gone! I will have my Teachers Notebook Shop on a similar discount too for those 2 days. I borrowed this cute little graphic for the sale from Doodle Bugs Teaching. She is so creative and does such cute things! Click on it to head over to my TPT to put some stuff on your wishlist.

By the way, did you know you can earn credits for past purchases if you give feedback? Then use those credits towards your purchases during the sale!

#2 I am getting in gear! I was feeling fairly blah about getting back into the classroom and I remembered some really cute stuff at Schoolgirl Style. I went a-looking and am inspired and excited! I ordered a whole bunch of things that are black and polka dotted and I hope  they arrive before I go in the classroom tomorrow!

#3 This year I gave in and bought one of those toolbox things with drawers from Home Depot. I started last night and just finished spray painting it white. I'd love to get some labels similar to this, but maybe all purple. If you have seen any cute purple ones let me know!

#4  My bloggy buddy Christina at A Tale of 2 K Teachers is having a fun 400 follower giveaway! I donated an item. She actually has more than one give away - its sorted into subject areas. Wouldn't it fun to win and use all the goodies for back to school?! Click on the image to go enter at her site!

#5 Is actually a question for all of you! I have been admiring these paper lanterns that I saw at Schoolgirl Style - but have any of you had trouble with fire safety issues? We have an inspection early in the fall and I wonder if he'll say they're not allowed. Let me know please! Don't want to waste my time  and money if I'd be forced to get rid of them.

Thanks for stopping by ! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

  1. These are the labels I used for my toolbox. There are purple ones included. They are editable and I just used the colors I wanted.

  2. I've just found you through the linky and started following along! You have to share some pics once you've got your classroom sorted- it sounds like it'll be very stylish! I have no idea about the paper lanterns... surely there's already so much paper in a classroom that another few bits aren't going to exacerbate the fire risk that much!

    1. I have to agree with you Serena. A few years ago they told us we couldn't hang things on the old clothesline anymore because it was a fire hazard. But I mea, between all the paper in the supply center, students desks, mine, file cabinets, bookshelves, homeork bin, work bins, etc... ?? Really! Thanks for the follow! I'll head over to your blog. Love the name!
