This is not new news - he is so low energy this happens regularly now that he is older! While I wait I wanted to be sure to tell you about my bloggy buddy Mrs. Leeby's awesome giveaway. She reached  600 followers and has tons of cool stuff to giveaway! She is giving away lots of items from her store and gift cards to places like Target (for back to school supplies?) and Chipotle (for fuel to get going on back to school stuff?) ! 1. Oh yes! I am always surprised about how much I have to remind second graders to end their sentences with periods. Not some sentences, but all need punctuation! lol

  7. I am a new follower! My focus this year is planning my day so that I could fit Writer's Workshop and Daily 5 into my class on a daily basis (my principal sets our schedule and doesn' t allow a lot of time for either). I hope to integrate WW throughout my day -- in other subjects. xosharonxo@hotmail.com

  8. I am working on getting back to my Writer's workshop, somehow I have drifted away and done more writing structure than what I know works best. Why do we do that? I want more writing and then teach from there.
