Oh yes! I am always surprised about how much I have to remind second graders to end their sentences with periods. Not some sentences, but all need punctuation! lol

My focus this year is planning my day so that I could fit Writer's Workshop and Daily 5 into my class on a daily basis (my principal sets our schedule and doesn' t allow a lot of time for either). I am working on getting back to my Writer's workshop, somehow I have drifted away and done more writing structure than what I know works best. Why do we do that? I want more writing and then teach from there.
